About the Author: Erin Moira O'Hara

Erin Moira O'Hara grew up in the Blue Mountains of Australia, where winter delivers bitterly cold winds and occasional snowfalls. For a child that loved the outdoors, being confined to the house could have driven her crazy. Fortunately Erin's mother, an Irish lass, knew a thing or two about cold weather and boredom. She filled the house with books and many winter days were spent reading beside a cosy fire.

Nowadays Erin lives in the hills of Newcastle with her husband and two spoilt cats. She still loves winter days, curled up in an armchair with a great book. So do the cats. They're very clever.
