About the Author: Kew Townsend

Ms. Townsend lives in sunny Southern California, where she loves to sit under a palm tree and watch the wave’s crash along the shoreline while writing her series Affairs of the Heart.

She binges on thriller and suspense movies/TV shows; especially those that add murder in a dark, gloomy castle surrounded by lightning, thunder, and things that go-bump-in-the-night.

Writing influences began as a young child with Grimm’s Fairy Tales, later her bookshelves flourished with 1980s top authors Collins, Devereux, King, Koontz, Krantz, Rice, Sheldon, and Steele. Her interest in glitz-n-glam, rags-to-riches stories, about entertainers, specifically actors and musicians, developed due to growing up in the ‘dream maker’ town, Hollywood.

When she is writing her suspense-romance novels, she listens to classic rock or atmospheric instrumental music, while sipping iced coffee and nibbling on popcorn.

Her master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and Archaeology enhance her world travel, and add zest to her novels.
